Evangelism for Homeschool Families

Home School Families can augment their Christian studies by reading Wes Moore's new book Forcefully AdvancingYou’ve chosen to homeschool because of your devotion to Christ, because of your intense love for your children, and because you wanted to lead a different kind of life—a real family life. I get this completely. My wife and I chose to homeschool our four children for the same reasons.

As a homeschool parent, you want your children to have a solid foundation from which they can launch into the world and make a difference. You don’t want them to hide from the world Christ has called them to change; you want them to be His instrument to save the lost and the increasingly corrupt culture of our land.

And you pray that their faith will grow beyond the cliché’s of many contemporary pulpits. You want them to grow to understand how to do real evangelism, what it means to sacrifice for the gospel, and the rich lessons of suffering for Jesus. You long for them to know the true joy of following in the footsteps of Jesus as He forcefully advanced His kingdom.

Finally, you desire for them to understand the spiritual realities of our nation and the world around them. After all, if they’re going to be used by Christ to extend His kingdom and thereby change the culture, they must first understand what’s going on in that culture.

Forcefully Advancing (FA) will enhance your homeschool and be an integral part of overcoming these critical concerns. By equipping your children to aggressively and consistently engage the lost in their sphere of influence— school, work, home, community—FA is at the heart of God’s plan for changing this nation and our world. (Read an excerpt on changing the nation.)

Furthermore, evangelism is one of the best tools for spiritual growth. When your children apply themselves to promoting truth to the lost, they’ll be challenged daily to perfect the skills to do this, to sacrificially pray for the salvation of others, and to learn what it means to be persecuted for their faith. FA will launch your children into a new level of discipleship. (Read an excerpt on sacrifices for the gospel.)

And Forcefully Advancing will open your children’s eyes to the realities of our nation and the church. At some point they must learn the truth about the world, and this Christian book will give them a clear picture of the battlefield into which they are sent. (Read an excerpt on the spiritual state of America.)
