Wes was born and raised in Danville, Virginia. After high school, he left Danville to serve in the U. S. Air Force in the early 90's. A former atheist and agnostic, Wes was converted to Christ in a powerful, Paul-like experience in the mid-90's. Since coming to the Lord, Wes has pastored two small churches in Virginia, passionately promoted the gospel to the lost, and been a dedicated student of apologetics.

Wes is deeply moved by the issues facing Christianity in modern America. For this reason, he founded Evidence America in 2007 to restore the kingdom of God in America through the power of Christian apologetics and biblical evangelism.

In his off time, he enjoys reading fiction, watching NCIS, and going to the movies. Wes is married to his wife, Dana, and has four children, Madi, Asa, Corbin, and Silas. He makes his home in North Carolina.
