There is a famine in our churches today in the area of biblical evangelism. Evangelism can seem intimidating to many Christians. Wes does a wonderful job of sharing the great need to evangelize, and he presents a strategy that any Christ follower can use. The Forcefully Advancing strategy is one of simplicity and great conviction. Thanks, Wes, for your work to advance the Kingdom.

In a day and age when the church seems to lack the knowledge and desire to confront the enemy of our soul, Wes has both sounded the trumpet and given the body of Christ a clear path to follow that will convict, challenge, and ultimately equip the saints to boldly and forcefully advance the kingdom of God!
Written in study-book format with each chapter ending in powerful self-examination questions, Forcefully Advancing is a great tool for homeschooling parents committed to training up their children as world-changers for Christ. If you’ve ever wondered what really happens when you think, “Well, somebody else will do it,” then read on!

In Forcefully Advancing Wes Moore has produced a biblical, insightful, and interesting fictional account of Carter Fitzgerald’s journey thirty years into the future and his discovery of how the United States has degenerated into a thoroughly pagan society.
While at first blush this may seem far-fetched, if you think about the degradation we have experienced over the last fifty or so years, the state of things the book projects is not at all unlikely.
But Wes does not leave the reader floundering hopelessly. He presents a detailed analysis of current church growth and cultural change approaches, and critiques, each using biblical standards.
If the book ended here, readers would be discouraged, but we are not left downcast.
Wes next presents a model for promoting truth to the lost, a practical approach anyone can use in friendly conversations. Taking it beyond the individual, Wes also shows how to develop a support system in your church or small group. Finally, readers are encouraged in the book’s last section where Carter Fitzgerald is taken back to the future and sees what America could become if the Forcefully Advancing strategy were implemented by Christians across the country.
Buy it. Read it. Take it seriously.

There is the clear ring of authenticity to Wes’s writing. The principles for which he advocates are ones that he has practiced across the years. I can vouch that he is the real deal because I have personally watched him flesh out a bold and loving witness for Christ. May his challenge result in Kingdom advance!

Leadership requires change and change requires risk. Risk requires sacrifice and sacrifice requires cause. There is no greater cause than the “Great Commission,” and there is no greater risk than the in the lives of individual Christians who desire to change the future and hope for America. In a time when there is a clarion call for a “Great Commission Resurgence,” this book comes with a lightning bolt realization that we can in fact change and impact our world and our culture. “Sacrifice, it seems is the fuel in the engine of God … ” is a profound statement that has enormous implications in our daily approach to reaching our world. Time is short and the need is great.

Forcefully Advancing takes us on a clear walk through the state of Christianity in America. Wes uses Carter’s life story and states the current issues, resources, and strategies clearly. He gives hope that God can use the church to further His plan to reach, love, and train Christians to live, walk, and serve Him with confidence. FCA joins Carter on this quest to abide in Christ, boldly standing for the one true faith and one true God.

America is never again going to be a Christian Nation unless the Christian, young and old, passionately pursues the Great Commandment–love God and love others, and aggressively advances the Great Commission–to go and share Jesus and teach everything He commanded. Forcefully Advancing: The Last Hope for America and American Christianity is a must read for teenagers, young adults, middle aged, and seniors. A revolution must take place that revolts against Satan and seeks to further God’s kingdom. Wes Moore’s book challenges the reader to do just that! This book will be a required reading for all of the students in my ministry who desire to be on the Leadership Team.
